My shadow

He's kind of cool
He looks a bit like you
A little mad
Do what you wish to do
He's got no boss to report to

He wakes you up
When've you have lost your cool
Play things down
When pressure gets to you
He'll never do what your folks do

You thought your shadow

I try to shut his mouth and work
Things only get worse
